“Cold Laser” Carpal Tunnel Syndrome Treatment?

Posted on July 15, 2004May 4, 2017

KSL news has an article on something called Cold Laser as a treatment for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Apparently, the Cold Laser can penetrate the tissues of the hand and offer pain relief without drugs or surgery. There is some conflicting data, but the laser supposedly, “increases blood flow, reduces inflammation, and reduces symptoms.” There’s no mention about whether the effects are permanent or temporary.

This is my first time hearing about any sort of laser treatment for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, so I’ll be keeping my eyes out. The article is short, but you can read the whole thing here.
