Flextend Week 13

Ok, it's been a while since I chimed in with my Flextend results (if you stumbled on this post first, you may want to start with Flextend Week 1 and Flextend Week 5). My improvement, which was initially noticable, tapered off around week 6 so I've been pokey about updating. However, I chatted with my clinician Jeff over at Flextend, and he said that, as with other exercise programs, it is common to reach a plateau. In order to hopefully break through, he's changed up my routine, and added a couple new exercises in so that I can hit the muscles from a different angle.

I just started the new program today, and I can really feel the muscles responding to the new positions. I hope this will help me make further progress toward some semblance of normalcy again (as normal as I was before anyway).

The Flextend gloves are holding up well under the daily use. In the beginning, I thought the program expensive, but the gloves are well made, and the clinicians provide a lot of support for their product, even building custom programs for you. They're very serious about helping people.

I think someone who had only recently started to have trouble with RSI would respond more quickly than I have (I've had trouble with RSI for two years), but I still hold out hope of getting back to normal typing activities eventually. Definitely check out Flextend if you haven't.
